Illuminé™ Office Dentsply is a 15% carbamide peroxide treatment which presents patients with clear results after an application of between 30 to 60 minutes. The process does not require light or heat activation. Illuminé™ Office is recommended as an intensive treatment prior to using a carbamide peroxide-based whitening system such as Illuminé™ Home or as an intensive, independent treatment requiring 1–3 clinical visits. Indications: 1. Dental discolouration due to: - Food, drink and tobacco stains. - Degenerative changes with age. - Pulpal necrosis and/or endodontic treatment. - Treatments involving tetracycline or minocycline. - Fluorosis, especially brown pigmentation. 2. Masking mottled enamel. 3. Genetically dark teeth. 4. Whitening of discoloured teeth prior to restorative or prosthodontic treatment, for example veneers.
